Neck Issues

Cervical Radiculopathy is a condition when a nerve(s) in your neck get compressed by either arthritis or a disc herniation. This condition can be seen with numbness, weakness and electric type shooting pain.

Cervical Myelopathy is a commonly missed diagnosis. If you are unsteady on your feet , have handwriting changes or just can’t seem to get your jewelry on like you used to, you may have Cervical Myelopathy. This is caused by either arthritis or a disc herniation(s) compressing the center of your spinal cord.

Back Issues

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis is a condition whereby the nerves in your low back become compressed by arthritis or disc herniations. This results in numbness, pain, weakness or a shooting sensation down your leg(s). This can interfere with your ability to walk for long distances without stopping.

Lumbar Spondylolisthesis can happen because of advanced degeneration of the lumbar causing instability. This may lead to increased back pain and pain in your legs.

Disc herniations typically happen lifting something awkwardly. This can cause pain down your leg or in its most serious presentation loss of bowel or bladder function which is a surgical emergency.
